Tidy ergonomic home workstation with a laptop on a stand

The best chair in the world will not help if you never move out of it. Still, a good setup makes it easier to stay comfortable.

Screen height

The top of the screen should sit at or just below eye level. A laptop stand and an external keyboard are the simplest fix.

Chair and feet

Keep your feet flat on the floor and your knees about level with your hips. If your feet dangle, use a footrest.

Keyboard and mouse

Keep your elbows close to your sides and bent at roughly a right angle.

Move often

Set a reminder to stand every 30 to 45 minutes. A quick walk to refill your water is enough.

Ready when you are.
