What it can feel like

Neck pain often shows up as stiffness when you turn to check a blind spot, a pulling ache across the top of the shoulders or a tight band at the base of the skull.

Common causes

  • Hours looking down at a phone or laptop

  • Sleeping with the neck bent

  • Stress that makes the shoulders creep upward

How we help

After a careful check of how your neck moves, we combine soft tissue therapy with gentle mobilisation and simple posture changes. Low-force options are always available.

When to seek urgent care

Most back and neck pain is not dangerous. Please seek urgent medical care, and do not wait for an appointment, if your pain follows a serious fall or accident, or comes with fever, loss of bladder or bowel control, numbness in the groin, sudden weakness in a leg or arm, chest pain or difficulty breathing.
