What it is
Soft tissue therapy uses sustained pressure, stretching and gentle release techniques on the muscles around a painful area. It is often combined with a spinal adjustment, because tight muscle can pull a joint out of its comfortable range.
Who it may help
Tight shoulders and neck
Muscle spasm after a long run or gym session
Trigger points that refer ache to other areas
What to expect
Your therapist will agree on pressure with you at the start and check in throughout. Wear something loose, or we can provide a gown.
Afterwards
Drink water, keep moving gently and avoid heavy lifting for the rest of the day.
